Robin’s own success with the licence production of Jodel’s designs delayed the manufacture of the RF 2, sending Mr. Fournier in search of a more convenient solution. This led to the establishment of a new manufacturing concern in a valley of the French Alps. Adequately named Alpavia (Gap Tallard), it manufactured an improved version of the RF 2, which was obviously designated RF 3.
