Conceived in 1973, First Flight in 1973
Although the RF6 was no competitor to the American imports, the need for a German 3/4 places aircraft was still felt at Sportavia. Enter Manfred Schliwa, and his tinkering with Mr. Fournier’s design resulted in the 4 seat RF6C. Originally powered by a 125 hp Lycoming, further development led to the the instalation of a 180 hp engine and the definitive RS180 (the S for Schliwa).
