RF6B / Slingsby T67

Conceived in 1969, First Flight on 12 March 1974

The preliminary study of the RF6 also included a 2 place training version, designated the RF6B, that ended up being designed first. Mr. Fournier was convinced that a niche existed in the trainer market for a racy and responsive direct competitor to the sleepy and numb Cessna C-150.
In 1981, Fournier sold the development rights of the RF6B to Slingsby in the UK who renamed it the T67. Originally built of wood it was redesigned for composite construction, and renamed T67.
